Melbourne Playback Subsidy Program
Thanks to the generous support of our partners, donors and many of our corporate clients, we are able to offer our performances and workshops at subsidised rates to some not-for-profit community organisations and schools who would significantly benefit from our work but cannot afford to commission a performance without assistance.

In recent years Melbourne Playback has been able to subsidise performances and workshops for Scope, Hawthorn Carers, Down Syndrome Victoria, the MTC scholarship program, the City of Whittlesea and 6 secondary schools. Over the next twelve months we hope to significantly expand our subsidy program.

How to apply for a subsidy

You can apply for a subsidy using our online form.

We accept requests for subsidy at any time and judge each on its own merits. We suggest that you discuss your needs with one of our facilitators before submitting this application and we ask that you allow up to 3 weeks for us to consider your request, although we will endeavour to respond much sooner than that.

Supporters

Help Melbourne Playback reach an even wider audience! You can support Melbourne Playback's subsidy program by making a tax deductible donation to the Australia Cultural Fund, operated by the Australia Business Arts Foundation (AbaF).

To make a donation please contact our Company Manager

ABAF logoThe Australia Cultural Fund was established to encourage people to donate to the arts and enable not-for-profit groups like Melbourne Playback to benefit from this generosity. All donations are made to AbaF which considers donor preferences when allocating grants. In the past six years more than $5.1 million has been donated to AbaF and granted in full to more than 300 artists and cultural organisations. We are grateful to AbaF for including Melbourne Playback in this fantastic program.
